Lumberjacks Fall Ball Slate
Flagstaff, AZ- The Northern Arizona University Men's Lacrosse team has completed two days of tryouts and have embarked on their 2018-2019 Fall-Ball schedule.
The Lumberjacks are committed to hard work this Fall, laying the foundation for future success. The players will be competing in four practices a week; including early mornings, plus a strength & conditioning program developed by our own certified trainer and assistant coach, John Casey.
NAU Lacrosse is excited to be hosting our second annual Alumni Game this October, with a tailgate planned for the homecoming weekend Big Sky football matchup: NAU vs Cal Poly. More information on the exact date & location of the Alumni Game will be put out shortly.
The Lumberjacks are competing in the Encore Vegas MCLA tournament in November. The Encore Vegas tournament attracts top MCLA talent from D1 and D2. Coach Lawlor remarked: "This tournament will be an excellent barometer for our success this fall. Top teams are playing in this tournament, we can't wait to compete against the best".
Coach Lawlor is excited to implement a box lacrosse training regimen and tournament the players will compete in for the final weeks of the fall semester. The Jacks will be immersed in the indoor game, and will compete for a trophy that will become an annual award for NAU Lacrosse.
